Design Your Boat Registration Numbers

Four steps from your state-issued number to a finished pair of decals on your hull.

  1. Step 1

    Enter your number

Type your state-issued registration number — for example TX 1234 AB — directly onto the live decal preview.

  2. Step 2

    Choose your style

Select a readable, registration-compatible block font and a decal color that contrasts with your hull.

  3. Step 3

    Preview your numbers

Set your hull color to see exactly how the numbers will read on your boat. The hull color is preview only — no background is printed.

  4. Step 4

    Order your set

Every order is a matched port-and-starboard pair cut from marine-grade vinyl and produced in 3–5 business days.

Installing Your Decals

Your decals arrive pre-spaced on transfer tape, so the whole number goes on as one piece.

  1. 1

    Clean and dry the hull

Wash the area, remove wax or residue, and let it dry completely.

  2. 2

    Position and hinge

Tape the decal in place, check it is level, then hinge along one edge.

  3. 3

    Apply and squeegee

Peel the backing, lay the vinyl down from the hinge, squeegee firmly, then remove the transfer tape.
